Elisheba Farms started in my kitchen right here in Denver, after our first baby was born.

Like a lot of new moms, I suddenly started reading every label. My lotions, my baby's balm, all of it. Half the ingredients I couldn't pronounce, and I didn't love guessing what was truly safe.

So I started making my own moisturizer. I read up on the oils and butters moms have leaned on for generations, picked out rich, moisturizing, healing and organic ingredients then made my first batch in my kitchen.

It didn’t start as a business plan. I just wanted something I felt good about using for skin-to-skin snuggles.

Then friends and family started asking for jars. Somewhere in there, Elisheba Farms became a real thing.
